Cindy Mardenfeld is President of Hauppauge-based Infinity Relations, Inc., a full service event management and strategic planning company. She is recognized in the Long Island business and not-for-profit community for her skills in fundraising, networking and execution of corporate and non-profit events.
Garnering a reputation for getting the job done, Mardenfeld’s experience is diverse and includes organizing start up projects, volunteer management, community/media relations and sponsorship. She plans meetings and executes events for several networking organizations, corporations and non-profits. Mardenfeld also works with other clients achieving their marketing and strategic planning goals. In the past five years Cindy has planned and executed over 125 events in 12 states in the U.S. and 15 provinces in Canada!
Mardenfeld is most proud of her past accomplishments in fundraising and feels privileged to have worked for the best in her field at many well-known non-profit organizations on Long Island including the American Cancer Society, Cancer Care of Long Island, United Cerebral Palsy of Nassau County and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Long Island Chapter. Some of her accomplishments include organizing the first Relay For Life in Suffolk County for the American Cancer Society; raising record numbers of dollars! She has a natural gift for establishing relationships with national and international companies. She established the relationship with FedEx, who delivers all the daffodils throughout Long Island and across the country for the American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Day event, which was previously done by staff and volunteers.
Cindy is involved with many business and professional organizations, including: Board Member of the Long Island Forum for Entrepreneurs, Chair of the Cortland College Long Island Alumni Association, Executive Director for the Long Island Community Chest and served as former co-event chair and is a founding committee member of the Long Island Fight for Charity.
In 2007 Cindy was recognized by Long Island Business News as one of Long Island’s ‘Top 40 Executives Under the Age of 40’ and was commended by New York State officials for organizing and publicizing the Amber Alert Training for Suffolk and Nassau County Police Officers. A long time professional advocate for causes dealing with cancer, Cindy exceeded all goals for Cancer Awareness, Education & Fundraising at the division level during her tenure with the American Cancer Society and helped to develop specific curriculum to present at regional and national conferences.
